Détails des produits
To mark the centenary of his birth, jurists, political scientists and philosophers take a critical look at Pierre Elliott Trudeau’s exceptional contribution to Canadian constitutional law and politics. The primary objective of this collection is to determine whether and how Pierre Elliott Trudeau’s thinking has influenced Canada’s legal, constitutional and political trajectory. One will therefore find here a contemporary appraisal of the impact that the ideas of this great statesman have had on Quebec and Canada, as opposed to a comprehensive historical or biographical study.
This bilingual collection is divided into six parts:
- Part I: Federalism
- Part II: Nationalism
- Part III: Indigenous Peoples and the Constitution
- Part IV: Multiculturalism
- Part V: Bilingualism
- Part VI: Constitutional Legitimacy, Patriation and the Charter
- Partie I : Le fédéralisme
- Partie II : Le nationalisme
- Partie III : Les Peuples autochtones et la Constitution
- Partie IV : Le multiculturalisme
- Partie V : Le bilinguisme
