The new edition will cover:
- The full effects of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2023 – arguably the most important piece of financial services legislation since FSMA 2000, fundamentally altering what has been the foundations of financial services regulation in the UK for decades
- Major amendments made by the Economic Crime and Transparency Act 2023 – heavily amends a variety of provisions in the Handbook including: the Companies Act 2006; the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022; the money laundering provisions of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002; and the Limited Partnerships Act 1907
- New pieces of EU financial services legislation including: the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA); the Resilience of Critical Entities Directive; the ELTIF 2 Regulation; and the Distributed Ledger Technology Pilot Scheme Regulation
