Pam Hrick

Stephen Aylward

Stephen Aylward, B.A. (Hons.), J.D., practises securities litigation, administrative/regulatory law, criminal law and commercial litigation at Stockwoods LLP in Toronto. He combines insights from his administrative, criminal and civil practice to bring a fresh perspective to legal problems. Stephen has appeared before all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He regularly publishes and speaks on legal topics and his writing has been cited by the Supreme Court. Stephen is also an adjunct professor of contract law at the University of Toronto’s Global Professional LLM Program. Prior to joining Stockwoods in 2014, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Thomas Cromwell at the Supreme Court of Canada. Stephen holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a law degree from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. He also holds a B.A. (Hons.) from McGill University. Stephen has completed the Level I examinations of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.

Pam Hrick

Pam Hrick is an associate at Stockwoods LLP. She maintains a broad practice that includes civil litigation, administrative/regulatory law, criminal law, constitutional litigation, and professional discipline matters. She has appeared as counsel or co-counsel at every level of court in Ontario, as well as at the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Pam also provides pro bono legal advice and representation to individuals through Pro Bono Ontario and is an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association's Administrative Law Section. Prior to joining Stockwoods in 2015, Pam served as a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Thomas Cromwell of the Supreme Court of Canada. As well, she also completed a clerkship for Justice David Stratas at the Federal Court of Appeal. She holds a J.D. from Queen's University, where she achieved the second-highest standing in her class year, as well as a Dean's Key award.
