Product description
Class actions have come to Canada.
Long considered primarily a feature of US litigation, the class action is gaining in popularity in Canada reaching across the country and into virtually every corner of commerce. Plaintiffs seek to negotiate more lucrative settlements and hold companies liable while courts search for more efficient ways to handle a burgeoning case load.
We are in the nascent stages of this aspect of practice.
- Groundbreaking cases are being decided regularly that will radically alter your ability to protect your client from class actions
