    Jocelyn Downie, B.A., M.A., M.Litt., LL.B., LL.M., S.J.D., F.C.A.H.S., F.R.S.C., is a Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy, and a Professor in the Schulich School of Law and the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University. Dr. Downie is a frequent speaker and a prolific writer on a variety of health-related topics and has been involved in the development of health law curriculum for a variety of health professions.


    Timothy Caulfield, B.Sc., LL.B., LL.M., F.C.A.H.S., F.R.S.C., is a Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy. He is also a Professor at the Faculty of Law and School of Public Health, Senior Health Scholar with the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, and Research Director of the Health Law Institute at the University of Alberta. He has published well over 125 academic articles and book chapters and often writes for the popular press.


    Colleen M. Flood, B.A., LL.B. (Hons), LL.M., S.J.D., is a Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy and was Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute for Health Services and Policy Research 2006-2010. She is also Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto and cross-appointed to the School of Public Policy and the Department of Health Policy Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto. She is the author/editor of six books.
