    Stéphane Beaulac teaches private law subjects in the new graduate program in North American common law at the University of Montreal, Faculty of Law. He has also taught at Dalhousie Law School. His graduate work was at the University of Cambridge (Darwin College), where he is completing a Ph.D. in international law and received an LL.M. in comparative law. He obtained his LL.B. in Common law from Dalhousie Law School and his LL.L. in civil law from the University of Ottawa, and has a graduate degree in legislative drafting from the University of Ottawa. Professor Beaulac clerked for Madame Justice Claire L'Heureux-Dubé at the Supreme Court of Canada. His areas of research include the history of international law, the interrelation between international law and domestic law, the interpretation of international and domestic intruments, and comparative law.

    Stephen G.A. Pitel is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario, where he has taught since 2000. He obtained his B.A. in history and law from Carleton University in 1989, his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1992, and his LL.M. and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in 1995 and 2002 respectively. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1994 and practiced corporate and commercial litigation in Toronto for three years. His teaching and research is focused on international commercial litigation, torts, and civil procedure.

    Jennifer L. Schulz, B.A., LL.B., M.Phil., S.J.D. Candidate (Toronto), is Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, and Assistant Director of the LL.M. in ADR Program at Osgoode Hall Law School. From 1999-2002 she was Assistant Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor, where she won the Professor of the Year Award in 2002. Professor Schulz has designed a master's curriculum in Resolution, Legal Process, and Feminist Legal Theory, and is interested in critical examinations of the influence of culture on legal and alternative-to-legal processes.
