Lorne Rozovsky Q.C., F.C.L.M. (Hon),has advised governments, corporations, and health agencies and associations in Canada, the United States and abroad. He has lectured in every province in Canada and the Arctic territories, USA, Europe, the West Indies, Africa and Israel and has appeared on numerous occasions on national and local TV and radio.
He is the author of 18 books on health law and risk management, and over 600 articles, including the first book ever published in Canada on hospital law. He has published more books in the health law and risk management than any other author in Canada.
He was made the only Canadian to be an honorary fellow for life of the American College of Legal Medicine and was the only non-American witness invited to appear before the Secretary’s Commission on Medical Malpractice in the U.S. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel by Nova Scotia in 1984.
He has taught in the faculties of law, medicine and dentistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and in the Health Law Institute of Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.
